Local Law #1 of 2004
REGULATION OF DOMESTIC FOWL
BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Candor, New York, as follows:
SECTION 1: RUNNING AT LARGE PROHIBITED
No person shall cause, permit, or allow any domestic fowl to run at large or to be at large within the Village.
SECTION 2: PENALTIES FOR OFFENSES
Any person who shall violate any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine of not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00), or to imprisonment for not more than fifteen (15) days, or to both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 3: ENFORCEMENT
This article shall be enforced by an Animal Control Officer or by the Village of Candor Police Department.
SECTION 4: EFFECTIVE DATE
This Local Law #1 of the Year 2004 shall be effective immediately upon being filed in the Office of the Secretary of the State of New York.

I further certify that I have compared the preceding Local Law with the original on file in this office and that the same is a correct transcript therefrom and of the whole of such original Local Law, and was finally adopted in the manner indicated in paragraph 2, above.
