Candor Town Board Emergency Meetings September 2011Minutes for the September 8 , 2011 Emergency Meeting The emergency meeting was called to order at 1:20 by Town Supervisor Darlene Cobler. In attendance were Councilman Joe Bish, Councilman George Williams, Highway Superintendent Kevin Noble. Meeting was opened with pledge and prayer. Councilman Dan Lindsay arrived at 1:50. Superintendent Noble reported materials that were on order. He had also contacted Marty VanEtten to aid in road restoration. Motion made by Dan Lindsay and seconded by Joe Bish that Superintendent Noble be granted permission to by-pass the procurement requirements because of the emergency situation from the storm of September 7, 2011 as a result of Tropical Storm Lee. Roll Call Vote - Cobler-Aye - Bish-Aye - Lindsay-Aye - Williams-Aye Superintendent Noble gave an update on the roads that were severely damaged. Motion to Adjourn at 2:53 pm. In attendance were Councilman Joe Bish, Councilman George Williams, Councilman Dan Lindsay, Councilman Milt Dougherty, and Highway Superintendent Kevin Noble. Superintendent Noble gave an update on the road situation. The only road not open at least one lane was the upper half of Crane’s Nest Road. Motion to Adjourn at 12:14 pm.
