Candor Planning Board Meeting July 7, 2009
- I. Called to order – 7:05 p.m.

- Storm Water Pollution Protection Plan Workshop – being held in Waverly on July 20, 2009. We should plan to attend this instead of doing our normal workshop.
- Tioga County Public Hearings
- Texting while driving
- Sales tax extension

- Timeline for submittals to the Planning Board & CEO
- Site Plan Review
- Talk to Jim Douglas about project
- If project is a business or commercial use, a Site Plan Review is requested
- Determine if applicant would like a Sketch Plan Review
- Planning Board is to be notified by mail fourteen (14) days prior to next scheduled regular meeting w/all required documents.
- CEO is to determine if this project needs to go to the County Planning board. If so, it must be received by the Planning Board twelve (12) days prior to their next regular meeting. This submission is to be made by the CEO.
- If project is located on a State Route, it must be submitted to NYS DOT ten (10) days prior to their next regular meeting. This submission is to be made by the CEO.
- Prior to final review by the Town Planning Board, they must have received the following documents:
- Approval or Denial by the County – meets 3rd Wednesday of the month.
- Letter from NYS DOT stating questions and concerns – meets weekly on Thursday.
- Variance Request
- Applicant submits application to CEO
- CEO determines if a variance is required
- If Variance is required, applicant will provide to Town Planning Board
- Permit requirements from Local Law #3 of 1990, sections 1.3 and 2.1-2.9
- This documentation must be received by CEO fourteen (14) days in advance of the next regular scheduled Planning board meeting. This will allow for the Planning Board members to receive this documentation by mail at least seven (7) days prior to the next scheduled meeting for review.
