Candor Planning Board Meeting February 2, 2010

1. I. Called to order – 7:06 p.m.

2. II. Privilege of the Floor
   
   
• Darlene Cobler – let us know that Matt Crowe and both officers were reappointed. Stipend checks for the NYC trip will be ready next week. Lateral file cabinet for our use in the Conference Room, all groups were charged $144.20 for the cabinet. Zoning bulletins were paid for and address changed to the Town Hall, not sure where they have been going. Dissolution meeting last night – they will meet the 2^nd and 4^th Monday at the Town Hall. Road Use Agreement Workshops have started. Candor NY Yahoo group – wants to clear the air regarding an e-mail, various discussions took place.

• January Minutes – Matt Crowe motioned to accept as corrected, Peter Ward seconded, approved. Ayes (7) Nays (0) Abstentions (0)

• Uniform Fire Prevention – tabled, believe Vice-Chairman Gary Henry, Jr has a hard copy of it and believe it’s on a flash drive. Jim Douglas has a bunch of notes that he was going to come to the workshop and go over with us.
  
  
• Road Use Agreement – Citizens Advisory Group has been meeting and working with the Town Board, along with several others. Everyone is anxious to get this in place. Chris Curkendall will rework and send modifications to Darlene Cobler
  
  
• Town Survey of Critical Areas – motion was made at the last meeting, but not seconded. Therefore the motion was dropped. Since then, Chairman Art Cacciola met with the Citizens Advisory Group and reworded the survey again. The survey will be available in pdf form on the website. Will not cost money as it will not be mailed, but will be available in hard copy in several places. Responses will go back to the committee and they will then present it to the Town Board. Vice-Chairman Gary Henry, Jr. motioned to approve as amended, Chris Curkendall seconded, motion approved with a roll call of votes – Bob Zebracki (Aye), Patti Reichert (Aye), Vice-Chairman Gary Henry, Jr. (Aye), Chairman Art Cacciola (Aye), Chris Curkendall (Aye), Peter Ward (Nay), and Matt Crowe (Nay). Chairman Art Cacciola will notify Sue Heavenrich and Martha Goodsell of the changes and that they can move forward.
  
  
• Fees Schedule – need to go thru all laws to make sure all fee schedules are removed.
  
  
• Sign Law – should redo because as it states now, there shouldn’t be any billboards or flashing lights within the Town limits.
