National Day of Prayer

The May 7 National day of Prayer Event at Moyer Park was attended by many Candor residents including the pastors or their representatives from nine churches. (Click images to enlarge.)

Memorial Day

Many in Candor took a time out of their Memorial Day to remember those who gave for our freedom and Country. A parade started at the American Legion lead by Candor Police, continued down Main Street to the lower bridge where there was a short ceremony for those lost at sea and then continued on to the cemetery for a ceremony for those lost on land and in the air. There was a large turn out at the final ceremony of spectators who followed the parade to the ceremony.
